The Robert Floyd Gallery, in collaboration with the Monson Arts Council, is pleased to exhibit a photographic tribute to the Kestrel Land Trust, in honor of its 50th Year serving The Valley through its preservation efforts. The exhibition will be held at the Monson Arts Council’s “House of Art”, 200 Main St in Monson.
Featured photographers Patricia Crutchfield, Steve Gingold and Bob Solosko, and many other local photographers, captured their images of conservation areas, which Kestrel land Trust facilitated in preserving, as they hiked and enjoyed the landscapes.
Their images celebrate Kestrel’s commitment to “conserve, care, and connect” with communities to conserve “special places” we all can enjoy. And then, there is the beauty of the land captured in these photographs. Come, enjoy the exhibit … then, go out and explore.
The show will run for two weekends, from September 30 to October 9, with open hours as follows:
Fridays, Sep 30 and Oct 7, 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Saturdays, Oct 1 and 8, 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Sundays, Oct 2 and 9, 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
The show will feature the work of three photographers: Pat Crutchfield, Steve Gingold and Bob Solosko. There will be an awards ceremony for the prizewinners on Friday, Sep 30 at 6:00 pm
A reception hosted by the MAC, and including the Kestrel Land Trust board, will take place on Saturday October 1 from 1 to 5 pm.
