The official “opening’ for the Monson Mural has been announced. There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony this coming Friday September 15, at 11 am. The artists will be in attendance, and will speak about their process, and the ways in which the community were brought into the process. This will be an opportunity to have portions of the mural explained. Come and join in as the latest attraction to downtown Monson is officially unveiled!
The Monson Arts Council is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is “To discover, promote and sustain an appreciation of and an involvement in art and culture in Monson.” It is run by a volunteer Board of Directors who serve three year terms, and who each year elect a slate of officers for the coming year.
