In recognition of her exemplary service to the town of Monson in community theatre, the Monson Arts Council is pleased to announce that Phyllis Hull is the very first recipient of “A Feather In Your Cap Award.” This award is given to a member of the local arts community who has made significant contributions to theatre in Monson. It is named after the very first musical presented by MAC, “A Feather In Her Cap” written by Mrs. Hull.
In recognition of her talents and contributions to Monson theatre, Mrs. Hull was presented with an award by MAC President, Peter Barnett, at the inaugural performance of Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling, on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Memorial Hall.
The Monson Arts Council is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is “To discover, promote and sustain an appreciation of and an involvement in art and culture in Monson.” It is run by a volunteer Board of Directors who serve three year terms, and who each year elect a slate of officers for the coming year.
