There will be a special exhibition of the sculptures of John Lebida on January 25 and 26 from 10 am to 4 pm, in Memorial Hall,198 Main Street, Monson, Massachusetts.
Please join us for the very first viewing of John’s unique sculptures. His sculptures are created from found objects from his business, Palmer Superior Plumbing. They have an iconic quality with a generous dose of humor. As in all such transformative art, there is a tension between our recognition of the source materials and the personality which they have been infused with.
Along with John ‘s sculptures will be fine art from the permanent collection of the Monson Museum of Arts, including portraits never before put on display.

The Monson Arts Council is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is “To discover, promote and sustain an appreciation of and an involvement in art and culture in Monson.” It is run by a volunteer Board of Directors who serve three year terms, and who each year elect a slate of officers for the coming year.
