In recognition of his exemplary service to the town of Monson in community theatre, the Monson Arts Council is pleased to announce that Peter & Chase Barnett are the 2024 recipients of the “A Feather In Your Cap Award.” Peter and Chase have been part of the Monson community for over 20 years. In that time, they have done so much for the arts, the community, and the Monson Arts Council. Their commitment and contribution is felt town wide.
This award is given to members of the local arts community who have made significant contributions to theatre in Monson. It is named after the very first musical presented by MAC, “A Feather In Her Cap” written by Phyllis Hull.
The award presentation was held on Friday, July 19th, 2024 at the performance of
“The Radio Play Disaster” by Don Zolidis.
The Monson Arts Council is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is “To discover, promote and sustain an appreciation of and an involvement in art and culture in Monson.” It is run by a volunteer Board of Directors who serve three year terms, and who each year elect a slate of officers for the coming year.
