The Carol sing featuring the girl scouts on the steps of Memorial Hall, which has been a tradition for thanksgiving weekend for many years, was expanded last year to include all townspeople who wished to join in. This new format will be continued again this year, as a joint offering of the Monson Arts Council and the girl scouts.
Mark your Calendars and join us on Saturday, Nov 25th at 4:00 in front of Memorial Hall for the town wide carol sing organized in collaboration with the Monson Girl Scouts. Followed by Santa’s arrival at 4:30 and refreshments at the Fire House.
The Monson Arts Council is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is “To discover, promote and sustain an appreciation of and an involvement in art and culture in Monson.” It is run by a volunteer Board of Directors who serve three year terms, and who each year elect a slate of officers for the coming year.
